  31.    don't know.  They know how to join a network where the only cost to
  32.    them is compiling a nodelist, carrying a few echos and having someone
  33.    pick up the entire long distance phone bill.

  35.         There is no cost to join this network.  No initiation fee, no
  36.     monthly dues, no long distance bills to pick up mail.  Just carry a
  37.     few echos to stay on top of the market and keep abreast of whether
  38.     you should be in the market making money or out or the market
  39.     keeping what you made.

  71.     Welcome to the Financial Information NETwork (FINET)!!

  73.     The FINET is about money; your money and your caller's money.  You
  74.  may be running your system as a hobby and have a board that allows you
  75.  to provide a service to the community.  Or, you may be interested in
  76.  starting a board to generate some dollars to offset your costs in
  77.  operating your system.  On the other hand, you may be interested in
  78.  operating a small business and bringing in some $$ to eventually build
  79.  a business to support yourself and your BBS habit <g>!

  81.     It doesn't matter which person you are.  The FINET is probably the
  82.  network for you and we probably have an echo that can satisfy your
  83.  needs. Unlike some other networks, we are not charging for access to
  84.  FINET at this time.  Depending upon how we develop our network in the
  85.  future, this may be subject to change.  So now is the time to jump in
  86.  and get grandfathered into the net!!

  88.     The FINET only has two required echos.  One is an administrative or
  89.  SysOp Echo.  This is where we announce new nodes joining the network and
  90.  provide daily administrative "stuff" that goes along with any network.
  91.  The other requried echo is The Fortune Exchange.

  93.     In The Fortune Exchange I discuss issues that affect all investors and
  94.  let investors know how they can get the most bang for their buck.  I let
  95.  them know how to buy stocks without paying a broker's commission, I give
  96.  them the name of an investment club they can join for $15 - 1/2 the price
  97.  of an individual membership and each month they recieve Better Investing
  98.  Magazine from NAIC. They also have the opportunity to buy over 100 stocks
  99.  without paying a commission!!  They may ask for an opinion on a specific
  100.  stock and I'll report where the stock is and when to buy or sell.

  102.     The Fortune Exchange is where I start new echos and bring them into
  103.  the main stream.  The Small Investor echo started in The Fortune Exchange
  104. as did the Investment Clubs (N.A.I.C.) echo.  I am working on a European
  105. Stocks echo and also a Penny Stocks echo in the Fortune Exchange at the
  106. present time.
